As current residents of the Iatrus Residency Program, Along Projects is excited to host a workshop at TaM that blends art, sustainability, and community spirit! Join us at Wednesday 24th at 6 pm for Yantra Yarn collaborative artwork.

Coming together to create a large collaborative artwork inspired by fishing net, participants will learn how to crochet and craft yarn from recycled textiles and plastics. Please bring your own clean/washed plastic waste and textiles, such as plastic bags or old sheets.

The resulting piece will be exhibited the following day at Yantra Beach alongside the flowing river, before returning to Denmark. Our aim is to create a minimum 11×4 meter artwork from repurposed materials, which will be showcased in the exhibition “As the Wind Blows” at Ringkøbing Rådhushal in March 2025. Involving over 300 participants, the finished piece will stretch wall-to-wall, filling the window overlooking the fjord.

This event is open and free to all. Join us in TaM’s garden at 18:00-21:00 on July 24 to transform waste into art and strengthen the connections between people and nature.
