In this workshop, we explore fear not as something to overcome, but as something to understand. Using elements from improv and guided exercises, we approach fear and “shadow” parts of ourselves in a playful, indirect way. While horror serves as a loose inspiration, the focus is not on being scared, but on getting curious about what shows up when we feel discomfort, hesitation, or resistance.
We will work with three guiding questions:
- What does fear actually feel like when we slow down and observe it?
- What changes when we stop pushing it away and instead stay with it for a moment?
- What might fear be trying to protect or point us toward?
Through simple, focused exercises, we externalize fear, give it form, and explore how it behaves. Some exercises will be reflective, others interactive, drawing on improv to make these patterns visible and easier to engage with. You can participate at your own pace, whether by observing or actively stepping in.
Rather than aiming to “fix” anything, this workshop creates a space to notice, explore, and experiment with new ways of responding. Often, what feels heavy or unclear becomes lighter once it is seen more directly.
This workshop is about building awareness, staying present in uncomfortable moments, and discovering small shifts that can change how we relate to fear in everyday life.
