RUDA KRUA разширяват възможностите на своите инструменти, експериментират с широка палитра от звуци и текстури, обогатени чрез използването на ефект педали. Наред с експерименталния си подход, триото черпи вдъхновение от афробийт, джаз, електронна музика, пънк и др., като вплита елементи от българската и валенсианската традиционна музика в своя експресивен звук.
An unconventional lineup featuring bass clarinet, drums, and saxophone. RUDA KRUA expand the possibilities of their instruments, experimenting with a wide palette of sounds and textures, enriched through the use of effects pedals. Alongside their experimental approach, the trio draws inspiration from afrobeat, jazz, electronic music, punk, and more, weaving elements of Bulgarian and Valencian traditional music into their expressive sound.
Групата се сформира в Ротердам, Нидерландия, в края на 2023 г. от Бранко Вълчев – София, Пау Джорда ̀ и Бернат Боронат – Валенсия. Тримата се събират за първи път по време на следването си в Codarts, University of the Arts, Rotterdam, съчетавайки своя класически, джаз и контемпорари бекграунд. Концертите на стихийното трио са смесица от авторски композиции и свободна импровизация, предлагайки на публиката нещо различно при всяко изпълнение. Тяхната новаторска музика ще спечели почитателите на Sons of Kemet, Horse Lords, Tortoise и The Ex. Но всеки, който се остави да бъде отнесен в дълбоки води, ще бъде завладян от звука на RUDA KRUA.
The band was formed in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, at the end of 2023 by Branko Valchev (Sofia), Pau Jordà, and Bernat Boronat (Valencia). The three first came together during their studies at Codarts, University of the Arts, Rotterdam, combining their classical, jazz, and contemporary backgrounds. With an unconventional lineup featuring bass clarinet, drums, and saxophone, the three expand the possibilities of their instruments, meddling with a wide array of sounds and textures, enhanced by the use of effect pedals. It’s the kind of pioneering stuff that should endear them to fans of Sons of Kemet, Horse Lords, Tortoise and The Ex. But really, anyone willing to jump off the deep end will be satiated by the clutches of Ruda Krua.
RUDA KRUA прави своя дебют в България с идването си ТАМ – част от второто им международно турне, минаващо през емблематичния фестивал MOMO в Ротердам, Международния музикален фестивал в Гюмюшлук, Турция и други европейски сцени. С цикъла “ГРУБА РУДА”, триото цели да съчетае сетивата на публиката и да представи концерт, включващ музика, съпроводена от визуални ефекти, пряко свързани с идеятa за нешлифованото сурово изкуство.
RUDA KRUA make their debut in Bulgaria with their performance at TАМ, Veliko Tarnoco as part of their second international tour, on which they passed through the iconic MOMO Festival in Rotterdam, the International Music Festival in Gümüşlük, Turkey, and other European stages. With the series “RAW ORE,” the trio aims to engage the audience’s senses in a concert experience that combines music with visual effects directly connected to the idea of unpolished, raw art.
